She turns to go and hide, but before she does the mare asks if death is the only way out, then why is he still alive.
“It’s my fault things got this far.” is all he says.
Mulberry tries to get to the door, but sees a shadow coming, and knowing they’d hear the door she instead hides behind a column.
Gamble comes hobbling in, and turns to his left towards the padded cells. He’s humming as he goes. Mulberry is pretty sure she hasn’t been spotted.
