That line means they are spouses. The siblings line is between Cadance and Blueblood.

Finally someone speaks common sense! Half of the fandom freaking forgets we see Cadense as a teenager.
 
Still as for the parents of our two goddesses…jeez, all continuity considered, the comedy comic with Hurricane and Platinum still seems the most likely. I’m fine for crack ideas of alicorns, but the whole ‘race of alicorns’ or ‘aliens’ or other such nonsense for the canon explanation gets kind of silly.
