Battle Angel is a manga that basically created the genre of cyberpunk (it even predates ghost in the shell and the matrix, it’s that old) so pretty much the whole picture reminds me of it: the dynamic pose, the dark color palette, the futuristic setting. There’s no doubt that its cyberpunk.
What part of the picture makes you think of that, out of curiosity? I’ve never seen that movie, so I’d be interested to know what the parallels are.
Was also my first impression.
