It wasn’t the artist who posted the pictures. It was some random karmawhore without basic common decency and enough brain power to understand the meaning of redundancy.
 
Posting near hundred versions of one picture isn’t good for anyone. By trying to appeal to everyone, it appeals no one. All it’s accomplished is a shitstorm of comments and a bad rep to the artist.

Next time, just make up your mind and decide what you really want to draw. Don’t make different versions of human/anthro/ponied-up, wet/non-wet, topless/bottomless, etc. Just make it a human, wet, and make a few versions of fully clothed (safe) and nude (explicit) and you’ll make most people happy. Maybe throw in a futa for the weirdo gay-but-not-reallys. That’s it. And when you draw something else, make it anthro to change things up. Don’t make dozen different outfits just because you can, because “can” doesn’t mean you should.
 
Also, don’t let this deter you from visiting Derpibooru again. This place is weird but nice, unless some idiot shows up to stir shit. And no, I’m not talking about myself.

slackerburst, dont belive any of the bull**** that some people are posting about so many versions of your art, “oh my gaw, this artist its making me give more clicks than usual”, sorry but go cry to other place, the artist can post as many pics as he wants unless they are breaking the rules, its that simply, let this good artist enjoy his pics, for what purpose you belive this site have so many years working for?, get agrip people.

If, according to the Pixiv page, there are 6 outfits all with variants, I’d say upload the six basic variants and link back to the Pixiv page for the NSFW versions. It’d not only limit the flood of images here, but would direct people to your Pixiv page and boost traffic for you.

You should make an account so that you have even more control over your art, especially the DNP (Do Not Post) function for things that may be paywalled.

Ah, I didn’t know you weren’t the uploader. You’re free to make whatever you please IMO. I had wrongfully assumed that you were the one spamming. It might be a good idea to make an account and tell the mods to make your art Do-Not-Post unless they’re uploaded by you, so our watchlists don’t get spammed by other people being unreasonable.
 
If you want to post 90+ images to your own site or blog, go for it.

The problem is not that there are so many version of the image, but the fact they go all uploaded in such a short time frame. Don’t let this discourage you from doing so many again. Just, perhaps, make them publicly available in small packs =)

Hello. It’s Slackerburst. I’m not the uploader of my pictures to this site, although I browse here sometimes. In hindsight, I agree now that making this many versions was a bad decision on my part. I am thankful to the uploader for spreading my stuff, but I can see that me making too many versions publicly available at once made it annoying to some. I have no problem with my work being removed from here if somebody is willing.

Especially since the differences between most of them are minuscule. Like wet/dry, at least she could change her facial expression, like ahegao when wet and casual when dry…
 
As it is, he post 90 versions for the sake of posting, like “hehe lookit me I post dozens”, instead of just posting a few selected like a normal human being.

I have no problem with 90+ edits of a single image.  
But perheaps spread them out over a couple of days next time, instead of over a few hours!

Honestly I think it makes it easier to browse than if the alts were uploaded a handful at a time. Because if all thumbnails on a page are just variations of the same image and you aren’t interested you can just click to the next page, quickly skipping all. Where as if they came spread out you would constantly see them on every page, instead of just 3-4 in a row.
