…Huh. I don’t hate this. I can see her coming to his shop after a long day of FASHIONing in Canterlot, maybe after a bitter defeat on the runway. He provides her a comforting ear, plenty of comfort food, and maybe even more than the occasional spark of inspiration. That lays a foundation of friendship, on which grows genuine affection, and love, then marriage and babus. Also, I find it hilarious that one of their kids - if the cutie mark is anything to go on, along with the abacus - is a stats-obsessed sports fan.
