Religion exists, deal with it. I mean, this fan series has had some random 'shipping, some OOC moments, some lewd jokes, some fan-characters, some unnecessary drama, some mean-spirited jokes, ponies acting too human/using modern human inventions, (not seen in the show) and it's funny of all those controversial things, it's a mere hint of "religion" that is what is "triggering."
(That said, this fan series is still good despite those things, I say. Some of those things in a way probably make it more interesting, and overall it's not meant to be taken seriously, or meant to be canon with the show.)
In fairness, no specific religion is being specified or being preached here, (and I recall a Pony wearing a priest-like collar was seen at a funeral in the actual show, so you might as well get upset about that too) and considering the punchline, maybe it was to emphasise the joke that "Sunday School kids aren't as well behaved as people assume."
