After the eulogy, the guests wandered around the great hall, conversing with the others around them about the deceased. Rarity was making idol chit-chat with Blue Blood when she saw Twilight beckoning her over from a hallway. Rarity politely excused herself and walked to her friend.
“Did you need something Twilight?” Rarity asked in a quiet voice, not wanting to draw attention to them.
“Yes, Spike’s taken Flurry’s death pretty hard, I was wondering if you could talk to him.” Twilight asked, frowning.
“Of course darling, I wouldn’t mind at all.” Rarity smiled and followed twilight to an adjoining room.
“Where is the little darling?” Rarity asked, looking around the room. She and Twilight were the only two there. She frowned and looked to Twilight who’s back was facing her. “Twilight dear? Where’s Spike?” Rarity walked to the alicorn and placed a hoof on her side, attempting to gain her attention. Twilight suddenly whipped around, eyes glowing green and red, a large grin on her face. Rarity fell backwards onto her rump and gasped in horror. She was caught in the alicorn’s gaze in seconds and was unable to turn away or run. In Twilight’s glowing eyes, Rarity saw her worst nightmares. Her friends abandoning her, her parents disowning her, and most dreadful, Sweetie Belle as a foal being taken away from her and placed into child protective services. She saw herself in her boutique, her hair disheveled. The room was dark and sewing instruments were scattered around the floor. She was holding a rope. Tears streamed down Rarity’s cheeks as she saw herself tie a noose and slowly put it around her neck. The noose pulled tight, and her body squirmed for a few moments before becoming still.
Back in reality, Rarity fell to the floor with tears still streaming down her face. She lay motionless as Twilight’s eyes returned to their normal colors, and the princess turned and walked to the door. Spike was already waiting for her near the doorway, his large body almost bigger than the door frame.
“You know what to do.” Twilight said to Spike before shutting the door on him and Rarity. Spike grinned and padded slowly over to the white unicorn, his eyes green, red, and hungry. He grabbed her in his talons and lifted her off the floor with ease. She was placed gently on to the couch while Spike stood above her. While in her unconscious state, Rarity felt nothing as the large dragon had his way with her.
