Flurry is a strict,by the books intimidating and frankly a little scary young mare.(Head cannons away)Shining and Cadence were childhood best friends,they did(do) everything together when you saw one it was guaranteed the other was close by.As they grew up a lot of ponies always said how cute of a couple they’d make but they never really had feelings for each other.Yeah sure they experimented,and yeah they did love each other but nothing more than friends. as Cadence started to experience changes and awakened as the descendant of the ruler of the Crystal Empire Luna took her under her wing and guided her,Luna fell in love with the pegasus,but Cadence never knew.When Cadence rose to become queen the expectations for her rose.She was expected to marry a stallion, and raise a heir.Cadence was pan and harbored feelings for a certain blue alicorn but as a knew queen she didn’t want to disappoint or anger her people so she married Shining,who only wanted to do it if she did.When she came up pregnant she was happy,incredibly happy.She was going to have a foal but not with the person she was in love with,and that made her heart hurt.She told shining this and he decided that they should get divorced but have split rights when raising the foal.So Flurry was raised with three parents and later on four when Shining married Tempest.She grew up with everything she had ever wanted,but she didn’t ask for much.She was humble and obedient.She never was really a playful or really even humors pony until her little sister was born.
 
Flurry was a young foal when her sister was born,and for the longest time she never broke rules,never got in trouble,did well in school and harnessed her powers quite well,all of that changed they day her sister was born.Well not that very day of course.When Cupid was born she was much more troublesome than Flurry ever was.It wasn’t just horribly powerful magic surges,young Cupid was always drawn to trouble and for a while Flurry tried to stop the trouble from unfolding but it always did.Flurry still tries to keep trouble away from her sister but usually she gets sucked into it as well.Flurry had always been a super formal and serious pony,always taking things literal but Cupid always had been a social pony and helped Flurry lighten up.
 
Flurry has interesting relationships with Lullaby and Ludicrous,On one hand she thinks Lullaby is a very proper princess and she respects how hard she works and really wants Cupid to learn from that on the other hand Ludicrous is always with Lullaby and She thinks Ludicrous is a horrible influence on both of them.
