In an age before alicorns, in an age before princesses, there lived an ancient magical clan. Descendants of the sun itself, they were the former movers of the sun. Rising it, and setting it everyday as a collective group. They were called Sundowns.
 
The Sundowns are imbued with the energy and power of the Sun, and also resonate with the star and they have even developed their own form of magic around the intense sunlight energy they receive.
 
Upon using the Sunlight magic, a symbol appears on their forehead. And if they’re a unicorn, the symbol appears at the very tip of their horn. Whilst also using Sunlight magic, their mane and tail also take on a very powerful, golden glow, flowing and brimming with power of the Sun.
