Prince of the Nullum Lux Empire, ruled by his parents King Sombra and Queen Luna
Oldest twin between him and his brother Moondancer
His off white coat is a product of being leucistic, while the various grey markings that cover his back, chest and shoulders are due to hyperpigmentation. This makes him the ironically dubbed ‘black sheep’ of the family, being the only pony in his family of dark palettes to have a light coat
Made a pact with a pair of demons that aid him in life. Once Mystic is to die however, said demons will take his soul and return to tartarus. These demons taught Mystic powerful black magic that would otherwise not be taught to the ordinary unicorn, let alone in Equestria. Mystic wanted to acquire such magic in order to be as powerful as his parents, as his own magic wouldn’t stand up alone. Especially as his special talent aligns with that of writing poetry, rather than magic
Despite being a powerful black magician, Mystic himself is not very physically strong. In a hoof fight between him and an earth pony, he would likely have every bone in his body shattered. He makes up for this however with grace, and an incredibly sharp mind
Mystic is calm, quiet, and generally aloof toward others which tends to give him a palpable aura of mystery to him. He’s highly intelligent, cautious, and admittedly a bit dramatic. Despite this, he isn’t above the occasional sardonic and sarcastic quip should he feel like it
Wishes to overthrow Celestia as he’s grown tired of hearing about her delusions of ‘happiness and friendship will solve everything’ sunshine and rainbows nonsense. It was time Equestria knew what fear really meant… He would succeed where his parents failed
Voice claim is V from DMC5
