Spike’s actually got bigger changes than her to go through. He’s already gone through them once, actually, so he’s well aware of what it’s like to become something new entirely.

Artist deserves credit for starting the tear near the nose, where the tear ducts are. Too many start them at the far edges.

The question remains to be asked… how will Twilight feel about this? It’s a lot of change all at once, and she’s a teenaged girl, after all. I applaud the artist for inviting that conversation.
 
Also, she’s probably gonna be fine with it, but the next thing happening in my mind in this picture is Spike giving her a hug and telling her that everything will be okay.
