No, I’m serious there have been people that desperate to pay that much when the virus first hit. You had people selling it in back alleys and on ebay. Simply because there were people in a panic and nobody was certain if and when a qurantine would go into effect. So you had people taking advantage of that sense of fear and desperation.

Like I mentioned it before, people began hoarding paper towels, kleenex and toilet paper because they figure the panic would bring in high demand. Thus allowing them to charge desperate people anywhere between 80 to 200 bucks a pop.

I’ve had more than one thought about switching to water - much cheaper it’s what the doctors have been recommending everyone do since forever. If you are worried about problems with logistics - running water will go out the last.

Well if worse comes to worse, you can always add vodka or anything with at least a 60 percent alcohol content to any type of hand lotion or soap. I think it’s 1 part alcohol for every 2 parts soap/lotion. That’s one of the reasons you can’t find rubbing alcohol these days.

Bad choice of words. I was trying to make fun of how the people who are buying all the TP and hand sanitisers are not actually looking to protect themselves from the virus, but instead are preparing for a long month of sitting inside and jerking themselves silly.

I think you meant “hand lotion,” not “hand rubbing lube.” If you ask for the former at a corner store, you’ll get what you need. If you ask for the latter, you’ll probably be asked to leave. lol
 
AFAIK, there’s plenty of hand lotions left (maybe you’re thinking of sanitizer?). If the lotion runs out, there’s always hair conditioner.
