I’m actually looking forward to this. The brony community always panics when the show does something new, and it has always turned out to be awesome. Alicorn Twilight might be something they’re doing to sell more toys, but I’m sure the writers will make it work somehow.

All this alicorn drama is making me feel better, though, thanks guys.

I, personally, will be vastly amused if it turns out that the only thing Twilight gets out of it is flight. It’s been a pet theory of mine for quite some time that the princesses don’t have more magical power than a high end unicorn, they are just vastly more skilled at using it. (And have especially useful special talents.)
 
Also, the one thing I’m looking forward to most in season four is Rainbow Dash teaching Twilight to fly. If they can’t get comedy gold out of that, they are horrible writers, and we all know that they aren’t.
