He’s already got two male snake ponies. >>2051823 As you can see, this one is the same as the final member of the “Venomous” type. >>1316063

I’m honestly going off of the Lamias from the Monster Musume manga/anime, where one of the Lamia subspecies is called “Echidna”. Echidna Lamias have venomous fangs. Since the description (and tags) call her Trixiechidna (Trixie+Echidna), I assumed the most logical.

She just doesn’t have the urge to bite someone. Because their mouths aren’t shaped for biting offensively they don’t have the same instinctive “bite if threatened” behavior that snakes have. They’re as fundamentally different from snakes as they are from ponies. She also has to make a conscious decision to inject venom, too; like if she sank her fangs into you accidentally it’d result in two painful but harmless little holes and nothing more :D

Apparently snakes in real life actually are highly resistant to their own venom and venoms that are similar to their own. Since their body produces it, it’s also accustomed to it enough to not be harmed very much by it. It’s the same way snake handlers will develop high resistance to venoms if they’re bitten enough :D
