Body/Appearance:
Ori is very tall for a mare, and pretty well-muscled. She is extremely beautiful, but can be intimidating regardless of if you know her or not. Her horn is slightly curved, and her magic is a light orange-yellow. Her mane and tail are quite lovely and slightly curled. When in armor, she braids it or puts it in knots so that it doesn’t get in the way. Her armor is in similar style to the Crystal Empire guards’, but is custom made and therefore has some different shapes and colors.

Personality:
Orizzonte is confident, spunky, and flirtatious, but she’s also very mature and takes her job VERY seriously. She’s the type of leader who is both loved and feared by her subordinates, as she is caring and just, but she doesn’t tolerate any sort of nonsense or slacking. She is extremely loyal to those above her and follows orders, but not mindlessly, as she is well-enough respected herself to offer her opinion if she’s not entirely confident in a plan or command.
Though she is a captain of the Guard and is clearly well-blessed in looks and has an outgoing personality, Orizzonte doesn’t let any of it go to her head. She works just as hard as she can each day and doesn’t see herself as better than any other pony just because of her position. She does her best to make sure every pony feels loved and included whenever she is around. When she’s not on the job, she is actually very approachable, but her only usual contact with stallions is when she’s working, and they’ve learned not to make any comments about mares or attempt to flirt with her after what she did to the first guy who tried.

Relationships:
Shining Armor and Cadance are proud of their daughter’s dedication and maturity, though Shining Armor may be a liiittle more happy with Ori’s life choice as she followed in his hoofsteps. Cadance can sometimes worry about Orizzonte and they disagree occasionally, but for the most part, Ori gets along very well with her parents.
Orizzonte doesn’t get to see her siblings very frequently during the day, as they are all occupied with their various activities, so she makes sure that the time she spends with them is really fun. It’s hard for her to believe they’re already so grown up, and it makes her a little sad.
She also enjoys hanging out with her cousins Valerian and Dawn when they’re around, as they are kind of like two more younger siblings to her.
Ori thinks her nerd cousin’s friends are pretty cool, too, especially Lionheart. She sees him occasionally when he’s at his dad’s shops in Canterlot and the Crystal Empire, but normally he’s at the one in Sweet Apple Acres, so usually she has to visit Val or have Val visit her with his friends to see Leo. Basically everyone is aware of his crush on Ori, and she does return the feelings (few actually know this), but for now she just enjoys flirting with him and teasing him because he gets all flustered and it’s super adorable.
Orizzonte also hangs out with Equinox sometimes because she thinks he’s super cool and knowledgeable and doesn’t understand why other ponies are scared of him.

Talents/Abilities/Cutie Mark:
Ori is very talented in fighting, magic, and leadership, but she’s only able to accomplish all she does so successfully because of her great confidence in her inner strength. When she was younger, she was very interested in becoming a royal guard over being only a princess, but she didn’t believe that she could. Her parents could tell how much she wanted it, so Shining agreed to start training her. She improved each day and moved up through the ranks, but was met with a lot of criticism along the way because of her age, gender, and status as the princess.
Her final test to become a captain was to defeat her father in combat. All the other guards had no faith in her ability to do so, and she entered the arena with a lot of self-doubt. When she realized she was losing, she realized just how much she wanted to succeed, and summoned all of her strength and courage to eventually beat Shining Armor. She got her cutie mark afterward, which represents both her self-confidence and ability to make great plans, though she also enjoys living in the moment.
Ori’s main weakness is that she’s ticklish.
