I know I freak out sometimes and don’t realize it. Friends would gently tease me sometimes for it, but then I realize I’m being silly and catch myself. Friends wouldn’t say anything if they didn’t care.
It made me smile, and I love this show and this community. They sure wouldn’t keep working on a show just to have people not keep watching it, right? It would be super hard to keep jobs in animation, then.
Please let it be because they know it IS permanent.
They just think it’s ridiculous that people are sending them petitions, threats and hatemail over giving a character a goddamned set of wings.
Except Andrea Libman. She’s a sweetheart.
I’ll inform them that they should be in sackcloth and ashes.
But seriously, what do you want them to say? That their employer is stupid? That they’re going to leave the show because they don’t like what’s going on? Nothing?
Personally, I think McCarthy, Larson, Nayuki, and the others from the show have all been light-hearted with their ribbing, and I take it as a sign that they aren’t upset with the fandom, not as a sign that they don’t care.
Because it’s their show, and they know we’re going to watch it regardless.
Please let it be because they know it’s not permanent…
It’s because they were over it almost a year ago and know we’re blowing it out of proportion.
