Taking place some years after Radiance’s corruption.
Pandemonium visits his twin sister in her dimensional prison whenever he’s able to, in hopes of cheering her up and desperately trying to bring a little of her old self back to the surface. He brought her gifts, even brought objects and pictures of their loved ones. But uneventful… After a couple of years, Pan takes their parents role as the ruler of Equestria.
A burden which once he thought would be his sister’s for being the most mature and responsible one. How ironic that it would befall on his shoulders and he’d accept it gladly. Initially he said “it’s only temporary until my sister returns”, but that slowly became a distant wish from his naive old self.As his duties became more frequent, and his spare time to visit Radiance became scarce, Pan’s cheerful and silly nature began to crack.
In his most recent visit, Pan found his sister crying again. He felt her pain in his chest, felt the sadness pouring through as he tried to speak to her, but it was like he wasn’t even there.Pan reminisce in the old memories of them growing up for a short moment, recalling how desperate he was to successfully prank her and he’d see her grin for outsmarting him. That was the breaking point. The sudden realization that he wouldn’t make his sister laugh again, to see her smile and happiness. It was enough to make the draconequus cry tears he held out for so long.Soooo I went back to check my Windyverse characters bios and suddenly I remembered that little goal Pan had set out to successfully prank Radiance at some point. And…it hurt just thinking about it! So I was like, I’mma gonna draw that!Sorry, I’ve been thinking through and through but I think Radiance’s story will not have a happy conclusion. Instead of clinging to the illusion of “everyone gets a happy ending”, I want to grasp the reality that, not everyone can be saved unfortunately. Sometimes life is just terrible, it hurts, it’s unfair, we can try as much as we want to fight for that person’s fate and try change it. But sometimes it just won’t happen.
Ok, maybe MAYBE she can be saved at some point, but for now her story stays in limbo. ;w;Continuation of this >>>
