Invincibility and immortality are not the same thing! be Immortal is Can’t DIE! and invincibility is you can’t be hurt!
Kay smart guy
Celestia Luna and Alicorns are AGELESS then. That better?
How on earth does the doctor go on, then?
Welp, the reaction will vary with each individual, but I see it as possible that an immortal will be able to cope and continue living even at the cost of knowing any friend he’ll ever make is going to die. Some people won’t live in a continual state of grief, or isolate themselves so as not to feel that hurt again. I’d take immortality even knowing the cost.
I doubt this situation would even be hinted in MLP, but I’ve always felt that the old “immortal always grieving” thing was overstated.
But it’s something that will repeat itself over and over and over again, just like Celestia must have had so many students…
I’m not immortal, but I’ve already seen a good portion of my friends and family die. They’re going to die regardless if you’re immortal or not.
Depends on what you want to do with that immortality. Now that you live forever, is there some great thing you’ve always wanted to do? That’s something Twilight would have to balance out, and it’s an interesting point to think about.
…too bad Celestia didn’t think to point that out in this comic…
Well, it sounds a little better than the opposite; a short, lonely nonexistence.
