Radiant Heart

I think Shy is more in line with Followers of the Apocalypse. Red Cross organization that works with everyone willing, for the benefit of the common folk. Usually.

I’ve tried that a few times, but I either run into somebody need of a bullet to the head, or get enticed by the DLCs, all of which mandate combat. I can never pass up Old World Blues comedy or the chance to drop nukes on somebody.

DO NOT SPEAK OF THE BURNED GAME!

But yeah, Vegas executed them perfectly, I think. If you’re willing to put up with all the bullshit that sort of group entails, you could join them (which I always did, to get to all their stuff before killing them), but you could at any time tell them to piss off and kill the whole lot.

As opposed to 3, where you had to work with them, and could only wipe them out with an endgame DLC in a way that made little sense.

The ones in Fallout 2 were complete pussies pretty much.

In Fallout 1, they were elitist and condescending, but were pretty justified in doing so.

They were barely in Fallout 2, but while helpful, I remember them being smug and backhanded about it.

In Fallout 3, they became holier then thou prick, and suffered from the rampant bad writing of the entire game.

And in New Vegas they’re both stupid and assholes, but were actually written to be stupid assholes.
