Description
First drawing of 2020!
Little illustration of my characters, Rufus and his mom Haabi’a. I tried recalling my “edged” style that i do when I’m particularly annoyed, but I was quite calm yesterday, so I think that is why I couldn’t quite grasp the style.
Tbh, it surlrises me how different Haabi’a and Rufus turned out to be, design wise. My fisrst thiught in designing Haabi’a was that rufus is basically, a carbon copy of her with a coulpe of changes here and there. Haabi’a is just a brighter version of Rufus’ coat, but when hist oroange belly streches out to the nacse of his neck, Haabi’a’s barely reaches her chest, the white markings going much further down. Their hair is obviously different, because I wanted to have Rufus Have at least something to resemble his father (who will be based on the alma-de-gato (portuguese name)) so his resemblance to his mother would be MUCH more apparent.
Their face markings and eyes are the same though, so I think that brings back that “carbon copy” idea.
Happy new year!
