Yeah, it's a great song, (and EllieMonty is a damn good singer, probably the best in the brony/pegasister fanbase) but it doesn't really make any mention of the MLP series either, (other then the name "Octavia," but that could be any person) so it's kinda unfair that people only call out "Don't Mine at Night" for "barely being pony related," when the same could be said for many other brony/MLP fan-made songs too.


 
The song was still made with Button & Sweetie in mind, (and even if you all hate that pairing, the music video animation actually poked fun at it, with Sweetie being oblivious to Button's existence, basically not giving a crap about him) and it's kinda a reference to how much voice actress Clair "Sweetie Belle" Corlett loves Minecraft. So it was still made with Pony in mind originally, at least.
