lineless sketch of mah girl, Cloudy Patches looks like a Terrequus (pony of the earth) but is actually an Aterre, or a mix between an aerequus and a terrequus. Unless she told you, you wouldn’t be able to tell as she bears no aerequine traits.

She’s about the size of a great dane but her hoof “toes” can separate and grip a bit when clenched shut and curled towards what would be her “palm”. Her pupils are square in shape and she has binocular vision but the roundedness of her eyes allows her to have a very large peripheral vision. She is an omnivore but leans more towards plants and fruits and fish. She has large bottom canines that later in life may resemble tusks which are best suited for ripping up, stripping, and crushing thick twigs, roots, fruits, and in the case of her conically shaped bicuspids can allow her to crunch through bone and shells to get iron and fat rich marrows and aquatic meats as well. Her skull is very blocky and square shaped for a terrequus which is considered a more primitive and masculine feature (similar to how a neanderthal may look to a modern human). Her voice is deep and booming for a mare and half the verbal noises she and her herd communicate with are throaty grunts, whinnies, neighs, and nostril snorts.
