Believe me dude, it’s worse than that. She has a tendency to use fire for everything. What was most likely a finely-crafted mana crystal would have been just that, but Applebloom thought, ‘Ah bet she’d think it would be cooler if it were a FIRE mana crystal!’, and infused it with fire magic. She’s not trying to kill Scoots, she just grossly negligent of the consequences because ‘FIRE IS COOL!!!’ Guitar Riff
