Since the Beginning -

A string is a sequence of characters, in this case for the message that was to be displayed.
 
It seems that someone, well, misnamed the string. And so the program couldn’t find it.

Not the biggest computer geek out there but a string refers to a a phrase usually made of words, probably called a string because in the computer, the words are made up of a string of hexadecimal values.
 
So what it means is that the computer could not find the phrase ‘my little pony’.

Ever since the first update (Android), I’ve been unable to log into my GameLoft Live! Account. ID:Pinkie_314.
 
I contacted there Customer Service about this, and the suggested that I ensure that my Wi-Fi was secured. LOL How dence do the need to be to understand that the problem is on their end?  
I’ve pretty much gave up on this Game,

It means they were too lazy to test their game properly, and forgot to write descriptions for some of the later/rarer events in the game, like certain ponies arriving or certain shops being completed. I seem to recall it happens with Shining Armor, Princess Cadance, the Night Guard and others.
