…I’m not sure you watched the same show I watched. I recall seeing a self-absorbed bully being a general prong (although why she kept that secret from Dash, I still haven’t quite sussed) while a slightly scattered but well-meaning (and entirely clueless, up to the end) party planner tried to get her to lighten up and stop being mean to everyone.
 
You saw, as far as I can tell, Malfoy breaking out the talcum powder so he could fit into his leather pants.

Gilda’s already a hero. Pinkie was completely the villain of that episode. And it would take until A Friend Indeed to truly learn her lesson! Now to just let Gilda know she’s changed. And then ship up some Gildust!!!

I would put Luna in place of Trixie. Trixie was never evil, just boastful.
 
And Gilda isn’t there because she has been replaced by Lightning Dust as the only worthy rival to Rainbow Dash.
