No, but it would have been interesting in seeing more.
in one episode however the interactions between trixie and hoo’far were more interesting than the set of other characters of the show. (the exception being starlight his only friend: character development obliges)

The ship is closer to the canon than the headcanon.
there has already been a positive interaction between these 2 characters. (in comparison with many fanfictions)
their behavior are ultimately complementary, hoo’far is managed trixie impulsivity.
