Glad I can look back and laugh at that stuff now. If only I’d known how truly looney some people are in this world.
For me things like that always drive me to madness, I wait and my brain uncontrollably goes through the colossal list of possible scenarios
In my experience, “We need to talk later” is always about something that SHOULD be anxiety-inducing.
Especially coming from the police, or your lawyer, or the police’s lawyer.
While I can see your point, there is still the fact that for some this type of sentence can be anxiety-inducing…
That’s how I’d use it.
If anything it’s the opposite of a power play, as it gives the other person the power to determine when the conversation happens (to a degree).

Like the artist, I hate vague notes too, mainly because they usually mean the sender has something to say that’s 1. bad and 2. bad enough that he wants to have plausible deniability afterward. But she’s a head of state, jeez. Cut her some slack.
