Discord’s a notorious liar in canon. Furthermore, in the tumblr blog’s fanon, Discord’s been making Pinchy look bad and feel bad. And thirdly, who’s to say Discord even considers Pinchy a friend in the first place (even if she considers him one)?
 
None of the above matter IMO; this was being used as a gag and to address the inevitable messages regarding this canon/fanon disparity.

Pony tumblrs in majority act like they’re the rightful canon for the show. Pinchy’s one of them, but far from the worst. They’re not on the show, their characters are in now way centric to the show’s developments.
 
They should stop acting like it whenever an event relegates their character’s themes behind, it’s something to frown about.
 
It’s not.
