I got a lot more responses than I expected on that last text post. Got a lot of positive feedback as well as some critiques. Seems like there are more people interested in the story than I thought. Well, I said Id bow to public opinion so everything will continue as it was.
Thanks for everyone who send me some nice words. You all really helped boost my confidence. Ill try to be a bit more assertive gotta rewatch that Iron Will episode some time

Honestly, I believe this story isn’t that horrible as you guys make it out to be (Maybe I haven’t burned out on sympathy stories). While the reason’s cliche, but it’s understandable. Let’s see how Dawn gets over her hatred, defeat the entity, and be a better person on this journey of hers.
Some people passed, some people failed, some excelled beyond all measure and turned people green. I did turn green, but if I came up short, that was my problem, no one else’s. When you’re eleven years old you kind of understand that there’s a bunch of things in life you’ll never get. The best you can do is the best you can do.
Dawnstar’s a real poor character in that sense in that she’s immature and CALLOUSLY made by the author to generate a sense of sympathy, which is a fail on an incredibly poignant level.
So screw you, Dawnstar. Screw your poor characterization and all the My Little Dashie and Nyx wannabes all to the throat of Oblivion.
because the “my life sucks and i will blame someone evn if is not its direct fault” is very cliche.
It’s not Twilight’s fault, or anyone’s really. It’s just one of those hard knocks that the world isn’t going to run without unless there aren’t any people in it. Some days somebody’s better than you.
If Dawnstar didn’t have some character flaw this would be a much more boring story. In this case, she’s jealous, and for an understandable if irrational reason. Why don’t we watch and see how she comes to grips with that?
@MagnificentTrixie
Well said, Trixie.
Sure, sure, that’s how the world works. But what about us, the downtrodden masses that work ourselves raw? What do we get? The answer is nothing. It doesn’t matter how hard you work or how badly you want something, you will always lose to the lucky one, whether it’s a matter of money or mere circumstance.
Perhaps hatred is a little too strong a word… But seething envy? Absolutely.
How many goddamn characters like this do we need? I hope Ponyville utterly breaks her on a level not even Trixie could imagine.
Because it’s so bad and one-dimensional that I can’t help but feel sorry for whatever poor sod came up with this tripe. They’re good artists in making use of shapes and vectors for an art-style reminiscent of a few Marvel artist runs in Minimalism, but ultimately are terrible and cheap (Yes, I said it again) by pushing all the blame on one source that’s already established in the show.
This is a stupid concept, and you know who I blame for starting it?
I’m looking somewhere between Nyx and Dashie. These two have warped sympathetic reading so badly within the fandom that they’ve become templates.
Terrible spins on events and an expectation to bring people to tears without concern on background, driving forces and a good twist to keep things going every now and again.
Terrible, TERRIBLE writing.
I know. But it makes sense why she has a grudge.
exactly.
and none of that is Twilight direct fault.
