Which is Why I support the entire group becoming alicorns
That’s pretty much how I feel here.
Besides, there’s like no evidence that indicates that Twilight’s growing wings in something like the next episode of the series. So I don’t see where the panic’s coming from.
Fair enough, as that is what tvtropes calls Fridge Horror. As I’ve said before though: I don’t personally think that the show will address such implications should it come to pass that they turn twilight into an alicorn. Hell they haven’t even addressed said implications regarding Celestia and Luna…though they have hinted at it in “Luna Eclipsed.”
As for it being done too soon…I concede that you have a good point. My only point against that is: How soon is “too soon”?
Personally, I’m somewhat non-partisan on the issue itself, as the concept is something I don’t have a problem with. If there is any problems, it’ll have much more to do with the execution of the concept, and not the concept itself.
For me (and I think most others) it’s not the concept. (Twilight’s OPd for a unicorn anyway) It’s rather that we think it’s being done too soon. And this would guarantee that Twilight would outlive all of her friends, save for Spike. (even if she isn’t turned immortal, she’d definitely have an extended lifespan.)
As this is the only place I interact with the fandom (for the most part), I thought I’d ask here.
