week 82 of the #mlp-atg-alumni group on dA. theme was to draw a monstrous pony.
I decided to put this one up as it’s my favorite thing I’ve done for the group in several weeks – looks like someone or another’s even uploading the other ones anyway, though (thanks! if that infers that you actually like my stuff, that’s kind of you) and even some older stuff, but this is one I wanted to toss up myself. I know the legs are kinda off (I just decided to wing it instead of using a reference for like, the first time) but I dunno, I like how it turned out for a nice 2-hour-or-so-which-is-really-still-too-long-to-produce-something-this-simple doodle.

I wanted to do a heavy frown that was even hanging off the face purposely, but given how pony outlines work it was hard to get it to look right. I probably could’ve done better making the whole outline black but idk
