Let’s see then…

  1. Water prank, sprayed in the face, shouldn’t hurt.

  2. The crown is very easily washed/dried off.

  3. Celestia seems like the kind of pony who can laugh at a good prank.

  4. NO PONY LAUGHS AT THE PRINCESS UNLESS SHE LAUGHS FIRST. And I’ll assume that this is in the privacy of her private quarters.

So yeah, no harm done, Discord. You’re cool.

There is an art to pranking right. There are four primary components to a good prank, as opposed to a hurtful prank.

  1. Physical safety: The recipient of the prank should not be in danger of physical injury. (any more than can be reasonably expected out of normal activities)

  2. Material safety: Any alterations to another person’s belongings need to be easily reversible, anything fragile should be kept safely away.

  3. Emotional safety: The prank should take into consideration the personality of the target, and not involve anything they are sensitive about.

  4. Relationship safety: The prank should be focused on the target, and should not harm that persons relationship with others. Embarrassing them in front of others, making them fail in their responsibilities to others, etc. are very bad pranks.
