Description

Spitfire

Spitfire grew up in a single parent household and her mother, who worked two jobs, often put her daughter in after-school clubs and groups to keep Spitfire busy when she couldn’t be there. Her daughter didn’t mind. In fact, Spitfire lived for keeping busy and showing off to those around her. Most of her activities involved some kind of sport: track, buckball, aerial races, etc. She became very attentive to high scores and records, and lived for becoming the best. If Spitfire was sitting still for any reason as a filly, something was wrong.

Clearly caring more about her extra-curricular activities over her studies, Spitfire didn’t have very good grades in school. She did the bare minimum to pass her classes and school seemed to be the only thing where she didn’t care about being the best. All of Spitfire’s teachers would tell her and her mother that if she just tried a little more to raise her grades, she could be one of the highest in the class. Instead, Spitfire shrugged and shook it off, continuing to care more for athletics than education.

Spitfire was a shoe-in for the Wonderbolts training program and quickly started to rise in the ranks, even as a trainee. She pushed herself hard (sometimes too much so) and was very keen on breaking every record that Wonderbolts had on file, which her superiors found very desirable. Spitfire worked very hard with her other training students, becoming great friends with Fleetfoot and Soarin who improved by following Spitfire’s practice methods.

With plenty of time working her tail feathers off at the Wonderbolts Academy, it was clear to her superiors that Spitfire was going to become one of the best fliers Equestria had ever seen. After a few years, Spitfire had become a full-fledged Wonderbolt and once their team captain had retired, was put into the captain’s position. The pressure put on her was extreme at a rather young age, but she relished the challenge and became even more of a record-breaking obsessed mare.

Spitfire is pretty well-known in her community as quite the lady-killer. She isn’t interested in pursuing relationships and identifies as an aromantic bisexual, but tends to surround herself with mares. Spitfire only has one rule: no messing around with another Wonderbolt, no matter if they’re a trainee or a full-time member. This rule was made immediately after a drunken night with one of her male coworkers and now she only mingles intimately with literally anyone who isn’t a Wonderbolt.

Like many Wonderbolts, Spitfire is known to have a small crowd of groupies following her before and after the shows. Being quite the flirt, Spitfire makes sure to make time for all of her fans, taking pictures and signing autographs for them while making them flustered beyond belief.

Aloe Vera and Lotus Blossom

Lotus and Aloe, known as the Spa Twins by most ponies, are the children of an earth pony masseuse and a meditation tutor unicorn. They grew up in a very “good vibes” household, learning emotional maturity from both of their parents. In their house, honesty was key and communication was a must. This led to a very open family where they feel like they can say anything, but might seem odd to ponies outside of their family.

Unlike some twins who might be annoyed at an early age by the whole “twin thing”, Aloe and Lotus loved it. It almost seemed like a novelty to them. Anything they did, they did together. If one was interested in something, so was the other. Ponies expected that the two would grow out of that behavior by the time they were adults, but they were wrong. The twins have such a strong bond, even as grown mares, and now ponies doubt they could manage on their own.

Very fitting to their twin behavior, Aloe and Lotus got their cutie marks at the same time. During a show-and-tell portion of their classes, the twins decided to show off some new spa techniques that their father was experimenting with at his job. The students got face masks and got mini back massages from Lotus and Aloe and it was clear that the two sisters were going to follow in their parent’s hoofsteps when it came to their skills.

Although the girls grew up at the edge of Canterlot, the two decided to start their own spa business in Ponyville rather than join their parent’s business in the city. Aloe and Lotus decided to name their business “Ponyville Day Spa” and while they originally lacked in clients, they now are known to schedule ponies’ spa experience weeks ahead.

While the twins looks delicate and feminine, they are still part earth pony and contain more strength than the average pony. And when you’re giving constant massages, strength comes in handy.

And here’s a sneak peek into their “relationships” with each other:

Spitfire met the twins after Rainbow Dash invited a few Wonderbolts to the Ponyville Day Spa for a day of relaxation and deep-tissue massages. The captain of the team immediately took a liking to Aloe and Lotus, who were equally interested in the pegasus mare. Spitfire headed to the spa more often than she ever did after that, with no surprise to everyone who knew her.

During formal events, Spitfire invites the spa twins to be her arm-candy and they happily accept any excuse to get dolled up and spend time with the Wonderbolt Captain. At these events, ponies are either envious of Spitfire’s dates or Spitfire for “hogging” the twins’ attentions.

Aloe, Lotus, and Spitfire aren’t very serious with each other and tend to just enjoy the company of each other. The twins know they’re “on request” with Spitfire, who always has plenty of other ponies to warm her bed at the end of the day. To the three, the fun they have is more than enough to keep them satisfied rather than pursuing a long-lasting relationship.
