Hell you dont even have to make them spin if you have enough.  
Imagine Rarity levitating a few dozen needles with thread all around Luna and autistically remarking that she’s never stitched a dress on a live model before, but that it would certainly be an experience.  
And she’s 100% serious, Spergity was told it was a test of skill and dress making is her best skill, not realising the implication that it’s supposed to be a fight.  
She thinks Luna is just posing for a ‘heroic’ outfit with the sword.
