From what I gather, it’s because of things that faust said in the past regarding alicorns. Mind you what she said isn’t even implied in the show itself (for the most part), so is of dubious canonity…but I digress.
My point is: a lot of people have taken what she said to heart, and as such, are very critical of twilight becoming an alicorn
Candence and Shinning Armor started as toys.
Lets wait and see shall we?
Alicorn Twily is preferable to this imo
I’m sure she’s just a toy, nothing more.
