What’s wrong with that
From what i heard in the forums,it was more explicit in the initial storyboards IIRC one of them gave a peck to the cheek of the other,but they changed it to make it like both interpretations are valid

Just my two cents, it’s safe to assume Fluttershy and Discord are just friends abeit closer friends as time went on. There was no more intimate display of affection other than friendly looks between them in the Epilogue.

You say that because you are worried and stressed that your ship is not a canon. You assume that they are married that they really are not, I can prove it in the episodes of this season. Discord decided to take care of her in her forties and that’s why she lives in her cabin to take care of the newborn animals. If that were what you said they had a true romance, I noticed all that they really had nothing, just friendship.
You are the one who assume they are just friends. If that was the case she would live in her own cottage.
you just assume it, they are not really married. if that were the case, they would have a true romance and a son they didn’t even have. She is aged and not discord, he is immortal, they living together as friends, that is why I have seen all the episodes.
Why would they be just roomates? Discord could visit her anytime if he wanted. What it looks like is that they live together because they are married. Maybe they even have a kid already. The fandom will surely try to draw how their kid would look like. While IDW comics will probably make an arc on how they got married.

LOL Fluttershy has aged for years. Discord hasn’t changed a bit because he’s immortal. They still remain as friends. And plus, they’re now roommates.
