Hi there everybody. I’m so glad you’re getting this. This is for any of the Barney lovers/supporters/neutral people out there. So a little something you need to know first. If you saw Barney’s first primetime TV special “Barney’s Imagination Island” (or Bedtime with Barney: Imagination Island as it is sometimes called), then you know the story of how Barney and his friends, Tosha, Min, Derek, Shawn, BJ and Baby Bop used their imagination to sail on a giant ship to Imagination Island but their ship lands on top of a bunch of palm trees after riding through a storm and getting hit by a “super giant wave”. During the adventure, Barney and the kids explore across the island and find a toy professor named Erasmus Q. Tinkerputt (played by original Grease film alumi Barry Pearl) who came to the island to prevent sharing his toys with anyone. With Barney and the kids help, he learns that sharing can make others happy as much as it can to you.
Anywho, the primetime special aired on April 24, 1994 on NBC (this link from Youtube is from the original primetime airing:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycKcQw… ). But like the special celebrated it’s 25th anniversary of it’s primetime airing, today marks the 25th anniversary of when it was first released publicly on VHS (after being avaliable for pre-order of September of that very same year). (There are two versions of the video that were released during that year, one with previews of Barney Live! in New York City and the Imagination Island hard-cover book:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=DojqSg… and recently someone on Youtube found one without previews in the end (which is extremely rare):

In honor of Barney’s first primetime special, I made a fanart of Barney and his Imagination Island with My Little Pony: Equestria Girls’ Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle (Sci-Twi) , Flash Sentry, and Timber Spruce in the roles of the children (kinda).
Happy 25th anniversary Imagination Island.
