You’re right actually but it’s one of those things starts out with one meaning and then is misused for other things (or the meaning gets changed with time depending on how you look at it). Basically it was only used for those that worship Japan without knowing anything about Japan (except that they have anime).

They mean the humanized figure. “Weeaboo” is the American equivalent of the Japanese “otaku”– a fanboy creepily obsessed with something, usually anime/cartoons– and is often shortened to “weeb”; they’re saying they want the Pony figure without the human figure.

That’s good, the other figures must be selling well enough for them to continue the series. I was worried with how many weebs were only on the pony bandwagon until their waifu lists changed.
