I don’t know what’s more terrifying: that the happy, go-lucky, meek Lily owns five hotels on the most expensive property or that she knew what Starlight did.

Not sure if there’s a “payback’s a bitch” tag, but this definitely deserves one. As much as I love Starlight, she totally had that coming to her.

In this game option, EVERYPONY wins—and I’m not saying that to quote Starlight’s fanatic quotes during the Mane Six’s first encounter!

Lizzie Magpie, a leftist feminist of the 20th century, actually created the monopoly game (originally called the “Landlord’s game”) as a way to communicate to the public about the dangers of monopolized capitalists and the benefits of a social economy. The original game actually had two sets of rules:

One was the anti-monopolist version that rewards all players for creating wealth for all the players, and the other was the pro-monopolist version that rewards only one player that could crush on other opponents by amassing as much wealth for oneself as possible; it was the latter rule that was made popular by capitalists Charles Darrow, who decided to turn this game into a major consumer product, thereby ironically monopolizing on a game that was supposed to teach people that a pro-monopolizing can be devastating to the poor and middle class

The problem with that line of thinking is that Starlight is the type of pony who will go back in time, yank on your dad’s tail at a critical moment, then yell at your parents for trying to have you.

It made me laugh when I saw that. The next square cheap square is probably Detrot. ;-)

Rat Infested St. too, lol.

I also liked how Vinyl’s game piece is a cassette tape.
