“Due to Hasbro’s financial situation”
What, being rich? It’s a joke if they’re pretending they can’t afford another season of an incredibly popular show that already makes them a lot of money.
Toy sales aren’t about meeting even, they’re about exploiting their show for all the extra money. A show doesn’t need to sell a single toy to still be worthwhile. I can only imagine how rich EQG has been making them already, when the budget for the first movie was barely anything at all. DVD sales alone definitely gave them huge profit. They just don’t want profit though, they want ALL the money.
They don’t need us to go the extra mile. We need them to step up. Or, eh, worst case is another company buys the rights and does a better job.
@Background Pony #31FE
If I had a job and all my plans were happening the way I wanted, I would surely buy lots and lots of EqG Minis. But life hates me.
ALL OF THE TRUE BRONIES AND FANS OF THE G-4 EAR IS ALL LIKE.

@Chuy Ryu
Yes, but sometimes I feel that kids (or people overall) aren’t very fond of the mini dolls. It’s a shame, because the classic mini dolls look fairly adorable!
@Chuy Ryu
Yes, that’s a sad truth. But how Hasbro can make new, successful EqG dolls without spending too much money? Since, you know, toy companies don’t like to spend very much.
@SaburoDaimando
Buying Entertainment One and basically everything from Saban Brands is very expensive, they should’ve planned things better… Just kidding! Like you said, Toys R Us’ end screwed lots and lots of people.
@ImpOfficial
Actually, I think the whole problem comes more down to when Toys R Us closed down last year. It didn’t just wreck Hasbro, it also wrecked Mattel as well, as well as many toy companies who rely on Toys R Us for sales.
