Rainbow Dash gets a bunch of lines because, in this scene, she has a lot of good facial expressions for screencapping. That’s the essence of how this comic works for me, in a way. One face = one line. Or maybe that’s totally wrong in retrospect and I’m just waxing philosophical today.

What would a “good pony, bad pony” technique look like, anyway?

DM: I’m going to try making this simple. Periodically, I will roll one skill check for all of you. The bonus will be the sum of your Dexterity modifiers. <roll> Okay, you’re good for now.
Rainbow Dash: So what’s the play? Good pony, bad pony?
Twilight Sparkle: Nothing too complex. We just poke holes in her story until the truth comes out.
DM: Keep in mind the cherries. If you’re actively talking to Applejack too much, you’re not focusing on the cherry sorting, which means your collective Dex goes down.
Fluttershy: Oh. Okay. I guess it makes sense for this to be a game challenge, too…
Twilight Sparkle: We’ll take turns or something, then. Now, where to start…? Haha! This is actually kind of exciting! Interrogating my friends is more fun than I thought!
DM: That’s… comforting.
