basically it’s in the show so it’s canon end of story, also it was the last few episodes anyways so I guess he just decided to snap his fingers and end half the shipping debates once and for all… cheesie pie, lyrabon, and yonabar are all canon now. fluttercord, and appledash are up for personal interpretation.

Remember that it was merely implied though, and for good reason. So anybody can believe whatever they want. It only gets bad when people want to cram appledash down other people’s throats, then claim some sort of non-existent moral high ground.

Well Jim Miller confirmed that AppleDash and FlutterCord are up for interpretation FlutterCord here: https://www.tumblr.com/dashboard/blog/so-guys/188326529565 meaning that they haven’t actually been 100% confirmed, so you can see the two ships as canon or not if you want or don’t want to.
Like if you want you could say that even Soarin lives with Applejack and Rainbow Dash, or Discord has a threesome with Celestia and Fluttershy, etc.
I see Rainbow Dash as bisexual at the very least. Since of the implications that she likes both males and females.
I honestly never liked the idea of romantic relationships between the mane six, I mean the show was called “Friendship is magic” and romantic relationships within the Mane 6 defeats and ruins the whole point of Friendship, I mean friendship is another sort of love sure but the Mane 6 were not supposed to be romantic lovers with each other.
I mean don’t get me wrong I think Rainbow Dash is bisexual I suppose the moments between Rainbow Dash and Applejack could be viewed either way (As being just friends or a relationship).
So, romantic relations were not explored with the cast, Well, not with the mane cast. There was definitely romance involved with the Big Mac and Sugar Belle plots. However, no stories in the mane storyline involved the mane six finding or falling in love. What we got was an epilogue, something to show that 20 years or so on these ponies would have lives, they might drift away in a way, but they would still be close. Having lives means that hey, some of them might end up with kids, or having relationships, or eventually falling for each other. Having these relations implied, or outright stated (ala lil’ cheese), means these character will have lives beyond the show, that we as the fans can envision as we wish.
Alright you horseyayers, listen up! Those ships were left ambiguous so that each person could choose for themselves whether to believe they’re canon or not. If you think AppleDash is a thing, go for it. If you think FlutterCord isn’t, that’s your choice.
If it bothers you that much, this site has a feature that allows you to block tags. Use it. Just stop arguing over something that will never be confirmed or denied in the first place.

Agreed. Spike appears to be not in a relationship anybody at the end of the show, it was left ambigious. And Spike and Gabby are not a couple, if they really are together we should have see some hints in the last episode but no, their friendship was never mentioned again since Dragon Dropped.

As for fluttercord support ever notice how when the mane 6 get in deep shit where discord has to go save them he worries about fluttershy most? That and this could be angel bunny being angel bunny but when he and fluttershy switched bodies at some point angel shy said “see how shyyy i am? I talk to animals, i wanna marry discord…”
It’s funny how some fans are more bought by Sparity than Fluttercord at this point… Seriously guys, everyone has its own opinion, but please use the same meter of measurement for everything.

Would their interactins in earlier episodes and their now hinted relationship be concrete evidence for you ? Its alright if you dont think appledash and fluttercord canon . They left it for fans interpretation. Everyone has different perspectives, some always saw them as a couple since the beginning and some only saw them as friends. Although, to me , fluttercord is canon . Same goes for appledash but personally i never saw appledash as anything more then friends. Im simply accepting them as canon because….meh
I still don’t buy Appledash and Fluttercord as canon. Don’t get me wrong I like those ships but I’m gonna need a bit more concrete evidence other then they stayed in touch.
