I’ve discovered that, like Elusive and the Thieves Guild, the Diamond Dogs are another source of exposition that I have to restrain myself on, lest I flood the dialogue with far more information than I need.

Transcript:

SFX: (BOING!)
DM: Well, I guess this curb-stomp makes up for the previous combat. Even Spike got a few good hits in.
Rainbow Dash: A few? He was freakin’ unstoppable.
Rarity: P-Perhaps he’s just that driven to rescue me…?
Rainbow Dash: Yeah, or Spike needs to be nerfed.
Twilight Sparkle: We’ll audit Spike later. These enemies are down, so let’s go get Rarity!
DM: You break down the last shoddy wooden door. You can see Rarity and the Diamond Dogs next to a minecart full of gems.
Rover: GAH! More po-nies!! How in the nine kennels did you break past my guards?!
Rarity: Ooh, he sounds distracted. Now would be a good time to get my knives back while nopony’s looking…
DM: They were smart enough to store your equipment far away from you.
Rarity: …Fine. It seems I depend on you five after all.
Applejack: Yer welcome, y’know.
