The really dangerous thing about the urge for wanton destruction in an RPG is that it’s satisfying. No matter how bad the repercussions are for flying off the handle, every player who fully committed to the act will come out of it all saying to themselves, “Totally worth it.”

Applejack: …Unnaturally blue. How so?
DM: They’re just very, very blue flowers. They stand out against the other plants of the Everfree.
Rarity: Wonderfully detailed description, there.
Rainbow Dash: It stands out! That means it’s important. We should burn the entire field, just to be safe.
Twilight Sparkle: How about no. No randomly attacking, no breaking and entering, no burning.
Rainbow Dash: …No fun.
