He’s only bad when he’s the star of the show. When the M6 are the focus, he often provides comic relief or level-headedness far beyond his status as a baby dragon.
Spike makes every episode worse. He should never have been in the show to begin with.

Too much Spike is not an actual criticism.
Rarity has this little problem. By nature, she’s as greedy as a griffon, but for some arcane reason the Powers That Be have chosen her as the Element of Generosity. Watching her try to balance those two sides of her character is one of the most entertaining parts of this show.
Sure, honestly I thought Rarity would support Gabby and Spike’s relationship.

It contained far too much Spike and assassinated the characters of the entire Mane 6 and Gabby. It was a travesty and the writer should feel bad.
Meh, It wasn’t that bad, unless you are a hardcore Rarity fanatic. Aside from that it was just okay.
