Understandable, and I appreciate it because I make this as a joke :p

If you saw every artist practice drawings, you would probably assume the same until you looked at their masterpieces. That in which you persist in you will get better at, not that the nature of the thing has changed but that your ability to do so has increased.
 
We aren’t MLPonies that have magic cutie marks that make us instant experts at a given thing. So don’t be so hard on yourself. All I can say is. Pursue the hobby, or even if it turns into a career, that you want. Be creative, learn to professional standards, which is a form of sportsmanship, and have fun.
