Twilight and Spike are already pretty sibling like since they grew up together. When the two started their families, they kept close. Spike and his wife Gabby live with Twilight and her family in her large castle.
Thus, Berry Burst Sparkle (Twi’s son) and Motley (Spike’s son) grew up as close cousins. As a toddler/small child, Motley loves to follow B.B. around and ask him questions about his light shows. Motley is very fascinated with magic, especially the spells unicorns can cast.
