She is not the head of Allspark. She is the VP of Allspark, which means her job is head of storytelling for MLP, Transformers, and the rest of Hasbro’s library. She hires, works with, and supervises, the next showrunner, and will be in charge of creating the actual show. According to her job duties, a showrunner will be responsible for executing her vision.

We have seen alot of new writers join FiM over the years. Most of them have turned out or grown into very talented writers. Yeah, there is alot of anxiety over new writers, but that doesnt mean it is a real issue.
Meghan McCarthy is still story lead, just like she has been since like, 2015, and most of the other Hasbro series these days also have really good writing teams.
