They gotta fit in so many things in the finale! Making sure each of the Mane 6, Spike, Discord, and the Legion of Doom all have big stuff to do, cause it seems like the finale’s gonna focus more on them! Oh yeah, and maybe some Starlight and Student 6 too, but I doubt they’ll be doing much.
The show’s finale is probably going to waste a lot of time on her.
I wouldn’t worry. The premiere didn’t waste too much time on her, and this season is more about Twilight preparing to become ruler of Equestria than anything.
Garble was just a bully who was affraid of being his true self, and it took Spike, Fluttershy and his sister Smolder to make him see the light, Starlight was a brainwashing cult leader who also tried to destroy Equestria.
True, Garble was just a run-of-the-mill bully putting on a tough guy facade while Starlight started a brainwashing cult and meddled with the fabrics of time.
Don’t get me started on how badly written Starlight’s “Redemption” was. It’s even worse in retrospect, now that we know she went nowhere as a character. Sure, she got things handed to her. The show’s finale is probably going to waste a lot of time on her. But nothing interesting was done with her as a character. Most fans don’t like her and barely anyone buys her toys, so they phased her out in favour of the Student Six.
