It’s not really jumping to conclusions when even the characters think a plotline doesn’t fit.
I agree, though, pretty wow.
Yeah it’s just right of Left Field because it’s not necessarily a bad thing though it is an equally sharp turn and it’s unexpected. Left Field will take you right down Asshole Avenue, and if you keep going from there and take another left turn you get to Cunt Cul-de-sac, the main attraction in Fuckville that basically is where all the ducks and shitposters live.
All that’s quite a different direction than what this is though. This is benign, it’s just….yeah, wow.

Yeah, while many others were quick to bash this fan comic series for it, I figured there must’ve been more to it. People jump the gun too much, or just take Pony too seriously.
Rarity may have her faults in both fanon, and canon, but she’s only human.
We all know Rarity really is Sweetie Belle’s mum.
